HOUSEKEEPING/GAME STUFF - THREE DAYS. DO YOUR AC
A PLOT DROPPED!!! FOR CR BUILDING!!
GUESS WHAT YOU CAN GET YOUR NAMES BACK!
-Clover gave CEO his real name back! It's Chrysanthemum! NERD.
-This has unlocked TRUE NAMES for characters! . . .if they can find them!
-Shepherds instinctively know the method of regaining your true name in Sheep: It's being carried on the wind somewhere in the Mist! To locate it, you have to find your Scent and follow it. This can be done if you're a weirdo with super good smelling senses or idk, A WOLF MAYBE hint hint.
-Once you've found the whisper in the wind, you have to confess a Truth about yourself, and it can't be something petty! There must be at least One witness there with you.
-The mist is still disorienting and dangerous though, so you will still need a weed to navigate it or one of the other methods available now!
-Also while I don't mind being pinged to npc this esp for the first few who try it, you do NOT need me to find your names! Feel free to run your own threads and roll the die if you wanna fight wolves and such along the way.
"Ash I may be dropping and/or good ending soon I ain't got time for that!" THAT'S FINE characters obv remember their names when they go home, that's all good and dandy. So wait, you may ask, what's the point of going through to get their name while still in sheep?
GOOD QUESTION. A pro and con!
PRO
-If a character reclaims their name in the mist proper, they may also permanently reclaim ONE feature or ability that has been inflicted on them during their entire run of Sheep. Were you a cat once and wanna be a cat forever again? Get ya name back. Had fire powers briefly and want that? Getcha name. Etc!
CON
-THAT SAID having your true names is a weakness cuz DEMONS. Not for every game, but I will be running a couple games where if you have your true name and you lose bad? It will come at the cost of permanently losing a memory. Obviously I'm not just gonna force you to make your characters unplayable, so you get to choose what memory is loss in that case! BUT it's just something to consider for STAKES.
There may be ~one~ other thing happening next week that will give characters/players something else to consider, but more info on that when it happens!!
ALSO WOWIE EVERY FLOCK HAS THEIR PRIEST. FUCKED UP. Details on what that means come mid August.
DEATH'S EYE IS CLOSED It closed for some reason. PROBABLY WILL OPEN BACK UP IN AUGUST A BIT.

-The calendar is blocked off August 13th-24th! I may or may not throw a weekday event in there at some point, but this is to give folks a break from back to back weekend games. If you have a game you want to run *in the middle of the week* tap me and I can see if I can slot it in.
-Gaisce will be running a game the weekend of August 31st!
