Barn Blitz Game Sign-ups!
Hey folks WHAT IS UP! We (Ellie and Seth) will be corunning the final trauma game of this month, on Saturday Sept 28th! We'll be kicking it off at 1 PM PST and will run it for about 4-5 hours tops, possibly less. There's wiggle room on how long it'll go due to the format/nature of the game.
We are running Barn Blitz, a Sheepgame take on Rubyquest! Your flock is playing as one of the last six sheep of the kingdom’s royal houses, all trying to stay alive together in a barn until sunrise.
For those unfamiliar with this game concept:
Your flock will be presented with a story via pictures and text, and will control one of the characters in the story. Your flock will discuss and reply with an action that they want their sheep to take, and it will impact what happens in the story. Rounds will roughly go like so:
- A scene will be posted, along with subheaders for discussions/reactions and submission. You can push whatever actions seem feasible to you in the scenario -- exploring, combat, building up defenses, etc.
- Characters can discuss amongst their flock or ask other flocks for suggestions, since it’s a free for all, and you can all hear each other. Submit actions for your character, +1 action suggestions you like, etc.
- Discussion and submission rounds will be 20 minutes long, with 10-20 minute breaks between rounds for your runners to update the image and story. It should be possible to finish the story in the allotted time, but it's all right if people don't do so.
- Actions may not fully line up 100% with what you have suggested, keeping in mind your little sheep’s personality and capabilities, but we will do our best to keep it close! The more support a character's action has from its team players, the more likely it will come into play.
- A flock's health is tied to their character. If the character gets injured, their HP will lower and the flock will rack up damage points. How much damage you rack up determines the amount of punishment your flock takes on at endgame.
- If a flock's character dies, so do they. If more than [a mystery amount] of flock characters die, you will trigger a TPK and all participants will die. Choose your actions wisely!

Please sign up below if you intend to play! We need an idea of which flocks are participating so we can modify for fewer characters if needed. Weeds do not have a role in this game and will not be called to the ritual.
